Objective

To verify the behavior of plate bending vibration

 

Problem Description

The 24 x 24 in cantilever plate [Ref 1] shown below vibrates under its own weight.  

 

Material properties: E = 2.95e+007 psi, ν = 0.20, density = 0.28356 lb/in3

 

Plate thickness: t =1 in
