What Building Codes and Design Standards does the software support?

 

The design routines in ENERCALC SEL conform to:

 

•IBC 2015 and IBC 2018

•CBC 2016 and CBC 2019

•ACI 318-14

•ACI 530-13 and TMS 402-16

•NDS 2015 and NDS 2018

•AISC 360-10 and AISC 360-16.  

•Both ASD and LRFD design capabilities are available in most modules.  

 

The modules that calculate loads and forces currently conform to ASCE 7-10 and ASCE 7-16.  In addition the software contains the USGS seismic acceleration databases for use with ASCE 7-16.  

 

Databases of all commonly available steel and wood sections and materials properties are also included.
