... please report it to your IT team and contact ENERCALC.
IT team: This message often indicates that your network is doing packet introspection. When this is done, the packet is re-encrypted before it is sent to our server - but our client-side software does not typically have the CA root certificate for the certificate used to re-encrypt the packet.
The usual solution is to append your network infrastructure's CA root certificate to the existing cacert.pem at C:\program files (x86)\ENERCALC_20\cacert.pem. IMPORTANT: This file already exists. You will be appending your infrastructure's CA root certificate text to the end of the existing cacert.pem as an additional certificate.
If you send us your CA root cert, we can add it to the .pem we distribute with the software. Some companies do not wish to do this. If that fits your situation, you'll need to manage adding the root cert to our caroot.pem after each installation / update.
